David J Adams, DO

Medical Director

With more than 25 years in medical practice, I bring my experience as a physician anesthesiologist and former United States Air Force captain to my role as Medical Director of the Academy of Injectable Arts.

I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences, completed my internship at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, and trained in anesthesiology at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles County Hospital before moving to Las Vegas to practice.

Throughout my career, I have cared for patients from many backgrounds, including individuals in the public eye. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to clinical precision, discretion, and individualized care—principles that guide my approach to both medicine and education.

At the Academy of Injectable Arts, my goal is to support nurses, physicians, and dentists as they develop their skills in administering Botox and dermal fillers. I believe excellent training combines technical instruction with a strong foundation in anatomy, patient assessment, treatment planning, and complication recognition and management.

Above all, I want our students to develop confidence grounded in knowledge and sound judgment. Every treatment should begin with listening, honest communication, and respect for the patient’s well-being.

When you look better, you feel better. When you feel better, you act better. When you act better, you touch the world and that’s what makes people feel better about themselves. The day-to-day effort to make people feel special is what makes AIA (Academy of Injectable Arts) special.
